Banksy

I love the art work/graffitti by Banksy. He manages to make it relate so well to its surounding context and in a very funny way. It also makes you think.

one sheet of paper

These are some selected works of Peter Callesen. They were based around the exploration of the relationship between two and three dimensionality. They used only one sheet of paper. Some of his designs are amazing. I particularly love the one with the butterflies and the tree with the fallen leaves.

Antler craze

My lastest obsession at the moment is finding some nice faux antlers. I am in the process of re-decorating my room and I thought some antler horns would be a different look. My favourite is the last image, if it was then painted in a high gloss white.

Arabella Ramsay

I loved this fashion designer last season and yet again she has produced a gorgeous winter 08 season. I can't wait until the clothes hit the Brisbane stores but I might have to head to Melbourne as well to check out the boutique shop. As her website says the shop blends "Parisian chic with a contemporary twist". The whitewashed floorboards and original fixtures really suit her clothing.

Dreaming of the Greek Islands

I am hoping to go overseas sometime next year and somewhere I have always wanted to visit (apart from France) is the Greek Islands. I love the look of the stark white buildings that decorate the cliff of Santorini and Mykonos. These images above are of Santorini.

odds and ends

These photos are of llubav abando choy's home in nyc via design*sponge. I was looking at design*sponge because the interior designer I work for will be doing some feature posts for this blog, I understand now why she raves about it. Not only do I love the stuff on it but I love the layout and look of the website. love the lace down the side. I think the wall of odd old keys is beautiful and a different way of putting something on the wall rather than just a painting or picture.
